Home Who We Are Our Staff Services Forms Contact Us MAOFU Home and Community-based Services (HCS) is Making a Difference MaofuHCS is making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Austin and nearby communities. We are committed to ensuring that each individual we serve has access to these support services to meet their needs, desires, hopes and dreams. Individuals are offered the opportunity to live in their own home or their family home and work in the community and to experience challenges and opportunities that promote and fulfill their lives. Services provided to each individual are carefully planned by Service Planning Team (Team) which consists of the individual, the legal representative, family members, the individual’s Service Coordinator, a staff member and other professional service providers. We seek to provide a stimulating life for all of our program participants and actively encourage them to participate in field trips, shopping, social events, and community activities on a regular basis. We are committed to having trained staff to address the specific needs of each individual. To achieve this goal, we periodically provide in-service training, workshops and seminars to staff.
